We carry the highest quality products and offer the best level of service possible. Your satisfaction is our number one concern. To return or exchange an item, please follow our return policy as outlined below:

• First, you must obtain a Return Authorization Number by contacting our office via email within 5 days of receiving your items. We cannot process your return without that number.

After you notify us to request a Return Authorization Number you should receive an email reply, with that number, within 2 business days. If you return a product without your Return Authorization Number written clearly on the top of your package, your return will not be accepted and it will be returned to you.

EXCEPTIONS:
Due to the extreme seasonality of our business, we do NOT accept returns from October 20 through December 31, 2008. All orders are final during this period. Costumes being returned must be postmarked no later than October 19, 2008 to be eligible for credit.

• All returned merchandise MUST be in its original, new condition. Please look at the item carefully before opening the factory sealed package until you are satisfied with your purchase.

• Garments (including jackets, costumes, coats, clothing, and gloves) that have been worn or items that have been used will not be accepted for exchange or refund. Please DO NOT return worn or used costumes.

• We do not accept returns on items after 5 days of your receiving the original shipment and there are no refunds or exchanges on custom orders.

• All sales shipped outside the USA are FINAL. We do not give refunds or allow exchanges on items shipped outside the USA.

• It is the customer's responsibility to ship an item back to Character Store for return or exchange. That's why it is very important to make sure you ordered correctly, that you have chosen the right item, the right size item and that your quantities are correct.

• Shipping charges can only be refunded up to $7.00 if the return is due to our error - please return by regular ground.

• We recommend you ship your return items via UPS or insured Parcel Post with "signature confirmation of delivery" for your protection. We can not be liable for packages lost in transit.

• After we've received your returned item, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you.

• Important! When you receive your package, DO NOT open the box with a sharp object! Costume City will NOT accept returns on items that have been cut with a knife while opening the box.
