Character Store is committed to offering a huge selection of affordable, quality costumes and theme-based apparel. Expect everything from popular kids costumes and cute baby costumes, to costumes for adults and teens of every shape and size.

How to Start Shopping:

At Character Store, simply browse through our wide selection of costumes and accessories in several ways. You can type a keyword, character, etc. in the search box, browse by character or theme, browse by age group or use any of the links at the top and to the left of each page. Once you find the items you like just add them to your shopping cart.

Finding a Costume:

Browse through our costume categories or costume themes on the left side of the pages or the top links bar. You may also enter the name of a character, show, movie, toy or other keyword in our search box on the upper right of each page. If we have the item you are looking for, a list of possible matches will appear. If we do not carry the costume you want, our search engine will return a message that says: "Sorry, no matches were found."

Selecting a Size

Most kids sizes range from infant-6 months to 11-14. Adult male and female costumes range from small to extra large with most costumes fitting male standard clothing size 42-46 and female standard clothing size 12-14.
You can find sizing of each costume in the description next to the example photo and below in the description field.

Our costumes are based on standard American clothing sizes, measured in inches around the top of the chest. It's best to double check the size you need before making a purchase, especially when it's close to the holiday.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart:

To add an item, select the size and simply click the "order" button. For our 'one size fits all' items, no size selection is available. After clicking the gray "order" button, the item will appear in your cart.

You may continue shopping by clicking on the "Keep Shopping" link at the lower left of your shopping cart. Or, if you are done shopping, you may proceed to checkout by clicking on the "checkout" button.

Changing Items and Quantities

You may change the quantity, delete items, or add items in the shopping cart page at any time. To add quantities, type the quantity in the quantity box and click the "update quantity" button. When the page refreshes you will see the quantity of the item and total has changed.

To delete an item from your Shopping Cart, click on "Remove" button or type 0 in the quantity box and click the "update quantity" button. Again, when the page refreshes you will see your changes.

Checking Out:

Review the items in your Shopping Cart, making sure you have all the costumes and quantities desired. When you're ready to place an order for everything in your Shopping Cart, click on the blue Check Out button at the lower right of the shopping cart list.

Shipping Information:

Simply fill in all the required info in the same way you would when ordering from any other e-commerce site and then choose a shipping option. If the item you ordered is in stock, you can expect them to be shipped within 48 hours after placing your order. If the item has to be back-ordered, you can expect your order to be shipped within 2 weeks (as long as that item is still available)

If items in your order have varying availabilities, you will receive an e-mail from us giving you two options.

You may wait until you entire order is ready for shipping and have it delivered in one shipment. Or, you will be asked if you would like to split up your items so that the ones available now ship first. This option involves NO additional per-shipment fees.
